Two women. One kitchen. Generations of Southern tradition.
Plum Southern Pie Company was born from a mother and daughter's shared love of the kitchen. We take classic Southern recipes passed down through generations and elevate them, transforming a humble slice into something worthy of your most special occasions.
It began when I was nine years old. A few months after our family suffered a great loss, my mom, Deborah, and I found a pumpkin cream cheese pie in a holiday baking book. We gathered the ingredients, added our own spin, and made it together. It was the first thing that brought us joy after that loss, and it was a hit. We made it every Thanksgiving after that, perfecting it year by year. Thirty-five years later, it's still the first pie we'll ever make for you. We call it The Original.
Our heirloom pies honor the women behind our recipes: my great-grandmother, Rosa Lee, whose buttermilk pie inspired ours; my husband's grandmother, Mary, and her sweet potato pie; and my mom, Deborah, with a peach cobbler tart made in her honor. Every pie we bake carries a little of that history, and a lot of love.
From our kitchen to your table, with love.
